A Slashed Tyre and a Mechanic in Need

God cares for the details of our lives, and time and again shows His faithfulness even before trouble begins.
As we ministered in Katherine, we had two private donations that came in at the beginning of our time, one small and one larger.
Then at the end of our stay, as we were visiting a family for ministry we ran over a surprisingly sturdy tricycle, which slashed our right rear wheel to pieces.
We ended up getting a replacement tyre at the local tyre shop, and the price of the tyre was fully covered by the first donation.
We then made our way to Mt Isa, but noticed significant sway and challenges driving. A local mechanic identified issues with our old spare wheel and offered a replacement at a discounted price, which matched the smaller donation.
So before our tyre was even slashed, God provided the answer we neededÂ đŸ™‚
I’m not much of an evangelist, but somehow the mechanic and I started talking, and I mentioned that we often pray for marriages in trouble. He responded by confessing that he had just days ago moved out from his partner of 19 years. The conversation led us to a time of prayer together!
Praise God!
