Sometimes it can be hard to find groups who want to hear our message, but in Townsville, God just arranged it for us!
We had a great morning service at Townsville Worship Center and went with the pastor suggested to a local park and playground afterwards.
While there we noticed a group of people in the park with a guitar-
It turned out to be a home fellowship that have been studying the feasts and the Jewish background of our faith.
This group meets fortnightly in homes, and fortnightly in various parks in town. They normally meet on Saturdays, but this particular weekend they unusually met on Sunday and at this particular park – coincidence?
They were hungry for what we had to share, with Sarah sitting down with 4 or 5 ladies who were soaking in what she was saying. One said that what Sarah shared gave her goosebumps and she quickly called over another woman “you must come and hear this”, she said.
Meanwhile I spoke with 3 or 4 guys answering questions while our kids played with their kids. We ended up staying with them for around 3 hours, and gave them some of our books, and they donated generously to our ministry.
