In Adelaide we hosted two passovers, and one particular pastor was very keen to bring his congregation to the event.
It turns out the pastor used to be a Muslim, and had a powerful vision / encounter with Issa (Jesus) about 10 years ago, which set him on a course to find out more about Issa – but within Islam.
He also began to study various religions and one day went to a Jewish Passover. Sitting at the Passover – this practising Muslim – was really surprised that his Jewish hosts didn’t see that the Passover is all about Jesus!
Some years later he was still searching for Issa and found himself in India where he was walking down the street and he heard a voice audibly say “stop!” The voice told him it was Passover!
He had no idea of the date on the Jewish calendar, but googled it and quickly confirmed it was Passover that very night.
He googled online how to do a Passover and felt the Lord highlight search result #3 – which turned out to be a Messianic Passover Seder. He closed all his blinds tightly shut so no fellow Muslim would see him, and went through the Seder on his own. As he did, he had a powerful supernatural experience where he saw angels all around him in unison warring over his soul and gaining strength as he was reading through the words of the Exodus.
Today, this former Muslim is a Pastor and it was such a privilege to meet him and later get to minister in his church!
