Rising Anti-Semitism as we Travel the Nation

by | Aug 5, 2025 | Israel at War, Travel Diary | 2 comments

Sunday the 3rd of August was a national day of mourning in Israel – marking a day remembering the many tragedies that have befallen Israel.
And it was on this significant day:
– thousands – including Christian pastors – marched across the Sydney Harbour Bridge vocally supporting Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran while calling for solutions that would ultimately destroy the Jewish nation.
Furthermore, it was on this day, 666 days since the horrific terror attacks of Oct 7 2023, that new pictures emerged of emaciated hostage Eyvatar David suffering unspeakably at the hands of Hamas
And it was on this day that we hit exactly 7 months since we started travelling around Australia speaking about God’s hope for Israel and the Church.
As we speak around the nation, we are increasingly seeing Christians being deceived by the media to believe standing against Israel is the right thing to do. I have been heckled from the front row and have met a growing number of Christians who are deeply confused about what is really happening in the Middle East.
In this context, our message takes on new urgency and importance. We want to thank everyone who has been praying for us and supporting us as we travel this nation.
Please continue to pray with us for the Churches to awaken to a Biblical foundation for viewing current events and to stand for Israel against the increasingly strong pull of our world. Pray for Israel to turn to her Messiah, the one true hope of Israel – and pray for revival and changed hearts throughout the Islamic world.

You and your family are in my daily prayers.
God is grateful for your stand. He’s asked us
to pray that the Lord of the harvest will send
out workers. So you are part of the answer
to the prayer that we who are on His team
    have spoken. Praise Him!

Enoch, I have loved the Jewish people since I was 8 year’s old long before I was saved. I have always known God was real but I was not saved until I was 31. In my early teens I wanted to become a Jew….I am now76 and I sometimes despair and feel overwhelmed by all I see in the media. Find it difficult to pray in a productive way for it all.
